Vultures are decomposes. Yes, the big flying thing with a bald head that eats dead things. Vultures, hyenas, tasmanian devils and other things that eat carrion (animals that are already dead) help speedup the posses of decomposing. They take what other animals don't need, witch can be gross, and use it (in other words eat it). Some animals like a kind moth that lives on sloth fur, it's young, this may sound gross, eat the sloth dung.
