My Question: In general, what do missionaries at CVE Magdalena, Mexico and Gateway Woods Leo, Indiana do?
CVE: Missionaries there live in a home with children and

have another assistant caregiver. Each

home has their own schedule that meets

the requirements and desires of the organization. A

missionary there could educate them, disciple them, and

be a counselor.
Gateway Woods: Missionaries there help teenagers that have a lot of trouble in life. There are seven programs in this organization; adoption, foster care, home based, larc, residential, and school.

My Question: What training is typically needed to become a missionary at CVE Magdalena, Mexico?

My Answer:

Learning new languages (foreign and the “heart language”).
Language training can take anywhere from 6 months to 2 years.
Heart language= being able to understand how to love and respect people of different cultures and the same culture.
Determine how God has gifted me to serve.
I will need to get profess training in my area of work.
A house parent should get training in early childhood development or social work or counseling.
