1. I think effective communication means being able to articulate and deliver our opinions or any content of the conversation to the other party without any misunderstanding.

2. Communication skills are essential for survival in today’s world. In real life, one of the most common ways to assess how well we communicate and deliver our thoughts is through interviews, which are widely used across various sectors and purposes whether it’s for job applications, scholarships, or competitive programs, as a way to select suitable candidates. Therefore, it is clear that we need to develop strong communication skills to stand out and be successful in the future.

The biggest difference between online and face-to-face communication lies in the psychological aspect. In real life, it is often easier to detect when someone is lying, especially through their body language, since the other person can both see and hear us. For example, avoiding eye contact or stuttering can be clear signs of dishonesty. However, online communication makes it easier to manipulate facts whether about ourselves or other matters because we do not have to face the other person directly. As a result, lies can be more easily concealed through text, tone, or choice of words.

I think effective communication can be defined as a two-way process which involves expressing and understanding meaning, using either verbal or non-verbal language.

Communication skills are important in our daily lives because we need them to properly convey meaning, express intentions as well as take further action, if needed, based on the message received.

Face-to-face communication can be said to be more effective compared to online settings. We rely on more than spoken language to gauge meaning, such as tone of speaking, facial expressions, body language and other implicit factors. When communicating with someone physically, we are able to take all these factors into account for communication to take place properly.

While communication in online settings can still be effective with the right techniques, it can be ambiguous in most cases, with the intended meaning being failed to be conveyed at times. For example, using emojis and voice or video messages when texting helps us to properly understand the tone and context of the message.

1. I think effective communication means two way communication where there should be responses from the other person after one speaks. I think it would be effective if the communication going on and on until final solution is reached until both parties have nothing further to discuss. For example, if only a teacher gives instructions without any replies from students then it is only one way communication and it is not effective, effective should mean something beneficial to us.

2. I think communication skills are important in daily life because it can connects everyone from different places. Different places we were born might have different languages, slangs, dialects and tones. With good communication skills, discussions become easier.

3. In my personal opinion, I like face-to-face communication than online settings. I think it has huge difference. When we interact face-to-face, we can clearly hear people’s voices, eye contact with them and it makes the communication smooth and friendly. However, with online settings, it has risk where the internet might not be okay and some people don’t want to open camera so due to these simple reasons, the interaction is not as smooth as face-to-face. It clearly doesn’t have the same vibes

During face-to-face communication, people rely on tone, body language, and facial expressions to understand meaning, while in online communication, messages are mostly text-based, which can make emotions harder to read and increase the chance of misunderstandings.

1. To me, effective communication is when people swap info, ideas, or feelings, and the other person actually gets what you mean—plus you get the response or result you want. It’s not just talking clearly , but also listening closely, trying to see things from their side.

2. First, they help build relationships. With family, friends, or coworkers, good chatting makes people trust each other and feel closer—like when you talk openly to fix a fight with a friend, it makes your bond stronger. Second, they help you get what you need. A student telling a teacher what they struggle with in class, or a job hunter talking up their skills in an interview—both need good communication. Third, they stop small fights from blowing up. Life has disagreements, but talking it out nicely helps find solutions without ruining relationships.

3. Face-to-face, you get tons—body language, facial expressions, how someone’s voice sounds, eye contact—they all show how people feel. Online, you miss most of that; you have to guess from text tone, emojis, or only a little from video calls.

And face-to-face is real-time—you talk, they reply right away. Online? Sometimes it’s slow,it doesn’t feel as “real” as in person.
