Our current medical education is drastically changing (Potter, 2019). The technology of VR that is available today is simply amazing and can be used for multiple different purposes in healthcare. VR is the use of software to create an immersive simulated environment. Unlike traditional user interfaces, to experience VR, users put on head-mounted display (HMD) which places the user inside an experience, where they can engage with the environment and virtual characters in a way that feels real. VR has a unique power, more than any other technology that has ever existed, to make users believe they are in a different environment. This allows them to learn from experience as they would do in real life. This ability to deliver experiences on demand is where the power of VR lies (Thomas, 2022). Here are some importiant ways VR is being used in healthcare today: Medical training and healthcare education (specifically surgical simulations), Pain managment and relaxation, distracting patients during medical procedures, physical therapy and rehab, cognative and motor skill rehabilitation, helping pedatric pateints feel less anxiety about being in the hospital. I also believe that VR has the potential to be cost effective. I do think studies are currently being done to prove the effectivness of VR and its various uses throughout the healthcare setting. The more research that is completed, the more evidence is being shown at how effective virtual reality can be for patients. There is a limitless possibility for educating healthcare professionals in a safe and efficient manner. Our goal as healthcare professionals is to deliver high quality, patient-centered, cost-effective care. I chose him because I need someone strong enough to take direction from me and then follow through with tasks. He can make the corrections necessary to stay on track. He will do well with prioritizing tasks and deciding when to act on them. My next team member is Abraham (Arranger). Abraham will make sure all details are organized.  Abraham can figure out how all of the pieces and resources can be arranged for maximum productivity.  Next is Carter (communicator). There is nothing more importiant in group work than strong communication. Carter will be able to put thoughts into words and present topics when needed. Daniel (Discipline) will be added to the group to keep them on task. He will establish a routine and structure to keep everyone on task. Last I will add Matthew (maximizer). Matthew will keep the team focused and build on the team members strengths to promote group excellence.
