One Internal Conflict for Person vs. Person is that Cassie is claiming that she might be the last human on Earth & the last human on the universe, but doesn't know if that's true or not.
"Sometimes, I think I might be the last human on Earth. Which means I'm the last human in the universe. I know that's dumb. They can't have killed everyone...yet. So, I'm probably not the last human on Earth, but I'm one of the last. Totally alone & likely to stay that way." (Chapter 2, Page 3).
2. One External Conflict for Person vs. Nature is that Cassie has ran out of water & she has spotted a water stream near her campsite, but she's worried that the water might be contaminated from chemicals, sewage, bodies of upstream or even poisoned.
"I was on my weekly foray for water. There's a stream not far from my campsite, but I'm worried it might be contaminated, either from chemicals, sewage, maybe a body or two upstream or poisoned."
