Liniers addresses the audience breaking the fourth wall by having the character look beyond the page. This figure looks directly towards the "camera” in the first and last panel right after his interaction with the other character.  In the first panel, the character is looking directly at the audience getting ready to speak uttering the words “Ahem…” then the character gets told that no one is interested; however, at the very last panel the character breaks the fourth wall once again. This is done in response to the dialogue present in the second panel that states “We’re not interested in what you’re about to say because you’re not famous.” The character is speaking for society overall by using words like “we” and the dialogue reveals a social stereotype that unknown people or people with no authority have no voice or power to make a change. However, by the character’s break of the fourth wall in the last panel, the author suggests that the readers understand what the character is thinking. The silence in the last panel further exacerbates the ironic response as by not having any dialogue in the panel, the author highlights the absurdity of the dialogue in the second panel and again assumes that the readers understand this as well. The usual readers of this comic must have a higher level of conscience that understands the ironic response to the level of absurdity of what the other figure is stating. This helps build the author’s social critic as he is criticizing the average people in society that only care about the opinion of famous people and silence others that are not. Moreover, it is important to note that both characters are wearing very similar clothes: a yellow hat, orange shirt, and pants. This highlights the irony that although they look very similar and have a similar aesthetic, they have completely different opinions.
