         <description><![CDATA[<div>The article links to many of our current initiatives and to the system's mission and vision.&nbsp; Cognitively challenging instruction is for ALL students.&nbsp; The first sentence of the second paragraph speaks to learning progressions, which we are completing as we unwrap standards.&nbsp; The last paragraph mentions dramatic problems with real-life meaning.....this is STEAM.&nbsp; Challenging students requires that TEACHERS challenge, assess, and assist themselves right along with learners.&nbsp; Rigor is about BALANCE!</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Thinking and analysis is key for at risk students. Another thing I really noticed was about the correct balance between support and challenge. They have to meet the same standards as everyone else so we have to support their needs while still challenging them. </div>]]></description>
