Most organisations are non-profitable which means she doesn't gain anything except happiness and joy from the children. She took up the responsibility as a parent to take care of the children and educate them. As well as providing food and shelter although she has no relation to them.Her action shows her kindness because she cares about the children who are less privileged and take a bigger step to help them. This is  a non-profit organisation which also means that she gains nothing from helping the children but she is still willing to help them. All she wants is to help the children and give them a proper home.

She did not backed out even after her home-to-be was destroyed in the hurricane. She placed in a lot of faith and hope inside the building because she believe it will be a building which her children and herself can live comfortably in. However, all of the hope was gone due to the hurricane which destroyed it to bits and pieces in just one single night. That's when she showed her determination to not just give up and leave the children behind homeless, by themselves and instead she took it upon herself and lived through the hardships with them and stayed by their side, when she could easily leave them behind.
