Emphasized strict adherence to personal hygiene while handling food during the preparation process. First time learning how to make dumplings and the experience was rewarding. Received positive feedback from both children and teachers, who enjoyed the homemade dumplings, especially praising the sweet date-filled dumplings.</p>]]></description>

Further enhanced the experience by allowing them to sample our homemade dumplings and guess the flavors inside.          <description><![CDATA[<p>During the open-house, played a key role in translating and introducing our booth to visitors, effectively communicating the engaging activities conducted at our center, contributing to a positive image of both the center and the organization. Many parents were interested in the stone artwork created by the teachers and children from our centre, even participating in creating their own pieces. The Dragon Boat and its accompanying instruments attracted numerous children who enthusiastically engaged with them. Additionally, the sign-in board garnered attention from parents, teachers, and leaders who willingly signed and decorated it.</p>]]></description>

Brought the K2 children to the community garden, where they personally chose stones to decorate. Actively participated in the creative process within the classroom, guiding and assisting the children in decorating and painting the stones. DN student also enthusiastically joined the activity, painting his own stone. This activity empowered children to express themselves creatively through art while fostering a connection with nature as they discover the potential of natural resources in creating art. The activity received positive responses from the children, who expressed enjoyment in the whole process.</p>]]></description>

Prioritized the safety of children and maintained order in the arena throughout the game. Assisted in tidying up the area after each round. The activity received positive responses from the children, who expressed enjoyment and observed many returning for multiple rounds.</p>]]></description>

DN student was also intrigued by the activity, and enthusiastically touched and felt the clay. Facilitated the readiness of the children for their performance during the day of the concert, providing cues for their stage entry. The children actively engaged with the game, attentively listening to the story and participating in answering questions. Their enthusiastic responses were evident in expressions of enjoyment during the game, with many expressing surprise and amazement that the game knew their names.          <description><![CDATA[<p>Created a customized online game from scratch to complement the lesson curriculum that focused on teaching the value of responsibility. Crafted using PowerPoint, the interactive game featured questions related to responsibility, such as “tidying up my belongings is an act of responsibility”. Children have to pick between “Yes” or “No” and perform the corresponding actions. Only selecting choices that reflect responsibility would lead the children to victory. This game not only reinforces the value of responsibility in children, promotes their gross motor development, but also makes the learning experience dynamic and interactive. DN student also actively participated in the game, mimicking the actions of his peers and the actions and expressions on the slides. At one point, the children begin to spontaneously exchange hugs when they win the round. Their active engagement and expressions of enjoyment highlight the success of the learning-through-fun approach.</p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>Collaborated with the EIs to create a tailored worksheet for the DN student for the lesson on environmental protection and eco-friendliness. The EIs suggested using image matching and contributed to outlining the action steps for the DN student while I created the worksheet. Three images depicting environmentally friendly actions and three images depicting non-environmentally friendly actions were selected, and the DN student had to pair and paste the correct images together. I also ensured that these images on the DN student’s worksheet were similar to those of his peers for a cohesive learning experience. The DN student was able to complete the task.</p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>Created a simple Kendama-like toy using recycled materials. This game is beneficial for children because it enhances children’s hand-eye coordination, dexterity, reaction time, fine motor skills, focus, and concentration. The children made the Kendama using toilet rolls, paper, and a piece of string. They personalized their Kendama by decorating them in the colour and animal shape that they liked. After completing their craft, they spent some time playing with it. Despite the challenge, the children displayed excitement when they successfully landed the tama (the paper on the other end of the string) inside the toilet roll. </p>]]></description>
