students will be able to review content and skills paying close attention so they don’t miss their turn.

 Standard :
NJSLSA: R4
Interpret words and phrases as they are used in a text including determining technical connotative and figurative meetings and analyze how specific word choices shape meaning or tone. 

 Materials needed:
Prepared questions on index cards for each student

Topic :
Literary devices 

 How to play :
 Shuffle cards and hand out to students 
 Student with cord with only a question begins the game by reading aloud 
 All students pay attention because one of them has the correct answer on their card 
 Student with correct answer on card reads answer allowed then read the next question 
 The game continues as such until the last student has only an answer but no question on their card 
GAME OVER! 
Game will be followed by a quiz on questions taken from the game
