         <description><![CDATA[<div>I have never heard of ‘Padlet’ until this assignment and it seems simple to use which should benefit all students when completing this assignment. It took me a while to figure out what I wanted to try and promote, but I’ve decided to promote an artificial travel website that provides customers with the best travel deals. I have made a number of different advertisements over the years through high school; however, I did not have the obstacle of copyright to plan around. Due to copyright regulations, it is important that I conduct appropriate research on what content I can include ensuring I am not breaching any copyright laws. I am keen to create and edit my advertisement video as I’ve had a number of different ideas come to mind over the past few weeks which I will be able to further refine into a sufficient advertisement.<br><br></div><div>&nbsp;</div>]]></description>

I say this because it is more than likely that the parents are the ones who do all of the planning when it comes to a family holiday, therefore it is important to appeal to them.          <description><![CDATA[<div><strong>Attention</strong> - Within the promotional video, I aim to grab and maintain the attention of the audience through visuals and sounds. Visually appealing footage of beautiful landscapes and Australian landmarks is how I hope to 'hook' viewers into my video. I want to take this approach as I feel that using content which is familiar to the viewers and target audience is an effective way to begin a promotional piece<br><br><strong>Interest</strong> - Similar to the attention, I intend on holding the interest of the audience by including relatable content. This may be portrayed through visuals or dialogue. For example, including phrases in which Australian parents could relate to such as "coming home from work to find out your child forgot to take the meat out the freezer'.<br><br><strong>Desire -&nbsp;</strong>Throughout the duration of the video, the audience should hopefully have the desire to want to take a holiday. This may be through the use of relatable content, or through particular phrases and call to actions.&nbsp;<br><br><strong>Action -&nbsp;</strong>By the end of the video, the idea is to have those impacted by the video undertake further research as to what other services are offered by the fictional website. Through phrases such as 'dont miss out' and or 'last chance' will hopefully evoke a sense of not wanting to miss out within the audience. Ultimately, resulting in them wanting to book a trip.</div>]]></description>

The first source was useful for the planning stage of this assignment. I say this because it is very important for the creator to know what advertising techniques are beneficial and effective when trying to promote something. This source uses previous ads, both successful and unsuccessful to create a good knowledge basis on what has worked well and what hasn’t in the past. Moving forward, this source will be beneficial in creating and promoting my chosen topic through its extensive evaluation of advertising techniques. Source two, as mentioned previously, is similar to source one. This source aims to provide to necessary knowledge in building the brand.          <description><![CDATA[<div>I intend on creating a promotional video encouraging residents to travel Australia through a fictional booking service. As mentioned in the AIDA section of the padlet, the video will include footage from a number of different, famous Australian landmarks. This can extend from The Great Barrier Reef to Ayres Rock. Alongside this, including audio of customers saying how happy they were with the service and also ratings and reviews to encourage consumers. Furthermore, the promo will include a number of call-to-action statements to encourage and potentially guilt customers to the service.</div>]]></description>
