For example we used an old telephone with the dial on it and we used this as a fax machine in the background. This was a good idea as in an office there is background noises  as other people are working. Some of the problems we faced were that we had to record the some of the sounds more then once as either it didn't sound like the sound or it was too quiet. This went well however I had a cold and a cough during this and I sounded awful and we had to stop and re record some parts as i was coughing during the recording. During the editing process of matching up our talking and when theses characters were talking we found out that we talked faster then the actual voices in peppy pig so this was an issue during editing. Next time when we practice dubbing we need to think about how fast the characters talk. We also need to keep in mind that these E-books are for children and so they won't understand very fast talking and will not be able to understand the storyline. I choose this as it starts of quiet but after a few seconds the music gets louder and there are a few moments where the pitch goes higher and makes you think that in the series something is going to happen that would be classed as intense. If you haven’t seen this before, I would of guessed you would think that something happens that would not be appropriate for younger viewers.

This my animated duck in a pond. I made this with final cut pro. I put the background on first. Then put the reeds and then placed the duck onto it. After I made the picture move forwards and make the reeds move in time so the picture makes sense as it all moves together. Next I had to make my duck move from one end of the pond to the other, this was the hard part as it was difficult making the timing right and making it look real and not animated. This is the hippo i made with photoshop, i got an image of the internet of a cartoon hippo and traced it. I took a picture of it and downloaded it on to my mac. After i had the outlines of the hippo on to photoshop it was then time to decide what colour I wanted my hippo. I went on the internet and typed in purple fur backgrounds and i then found the one that the hippo is now coloured. I had to make so many layers as making the eyes the colours they are, the ears and tongue certain colours.
