I started playing Violin in  my 5th grade class I remember it screeching for hours on end

But I kept practicing 

I knew one thing was real:

I fell in love with you.

A love so deep I gave you my all -

From my first concert to last

It kept getting better and better

It took 5 concerts to feel confident playing My Violin started singing to the crowd The crowd as silent as a mouse Hearing every single note

I gave you my heart 

Because it came with so much more And we both know, no matter what I do next

I’ll always be that kid 

With the Violin in my hands in my class when I first picked you up
