(Provide Evidence).</div><div>Leonard Cohen is informing the reader that Adolf Eichmann appears just like everyone else. According to Stanza 2, line 1-5, which says “What did you expect? Talons? Oversized incisors? Green saliva? Madness?”  The author takes things that would be seen as monstrous and savage, and tells the reader that even though he doesn't have those elements, he is still savage. This shows that there are no visual cues to indicate that Adolf Eichmann was savage.</div><div><br><br></div>]]></description>

A line in the poem is Stanza 2 Line 1, "What did you expect?". On the outside, his looks aren't very different compared to others so people aren't too alarmed. But, he is a person who looks innocent from the outside like any other civilian but on the inside, it is his actions and mind that are savage.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>According to Stanza 2, line 1-2, it states that "What did you expect? Talons?" This showcases that when a person is savage, their appearance won't change from other people who are civilized, savage people are shown through their actions, it is not expected that they look different than others. A person could look like they are civilized and innocent but in reality they are just as evil as Adolf. Savagery is not just displayed through looks, a guilty person like Adolf couldn't be distinguishable by how he looked but distinguished by his savage actions and his characteristics. Savage people can be anywhere without us knowing because they won't have things like talons. The author says that you can't expect the person that is evil to look different, they would look the same.</div>]]></description>
