target and torment that continue to flow 

through questioning and social belonging.

Movement of a tormented tongue 

accustomed to bother close and yonder. 

Words of pain like no other 

to dement the thoughts of the knowing. 

 

Wretched moment leading to agony 

as others fulfill their boastful chants.

Identity exposed to make a stance;

a battle of tongues to see who goes.

Open spaces filled with anger and fight; 

yet there is dirt that has marked souls; 

even the walks of those you follow.  

 

Though benevolent tongue 

to speak aloud to nurture oneself

so devoted to growth and aspiration. 

While others use it to malfunction the whole 

to confuse and make you fall

so hold on tight with a giving hand; 

the ally of knowledge to teach and stand. 

 

An unending flow of thoughts to be free; 

I commend for you to focus and stop

as you ease from your useless device;

I will be vigorous as I will be perfect and done.

 

The voice I have to fight against chaotic winds 

has made me stronger and left you behind.

I am a source of power to choose, to show, to glorify;

the need to push to go far and fly.
