Nama : Desi ririanti fitri
NPM : 2111040026
Okay, when we're doing introductions, we have two ways of doing, introductions one in a formal context and the other one and an informal context.

So, we're going to look at first at the formal context and these are contexts for example, for a job interview or meetings or conferences. So when you don't know that person and you trying to keep distance from the person and this is what I wanted to remind you that in the Anglo-Saxon world. We have a distance of one meter, to one meter and a half. Okay. This is called personal space or social distance that you keep with the person you're meeting. So do not stand too close to that person. Okay, at least 1 meter or 1 meter and a half. Otherwise, if you do that, it is considered.

So, I suggest that you use at least one meter. Okay, for your social distance, when you meet someone. Now the first thing that you do is your set, you say your full name and you greet the person. Good morning. Good afternoon. Good evening. I'm Mark bisutti. Okay, full name and you can say, how do you do? Well, this question is obviously used in formal contest and black. Do you answer to that question? You just you just don't say anything. How do you do? How do you do? Poor? Just

Don't say anything don't answer to that. The second thing that you do is you give a one-sentence description of what you do. So, I'm an English teacher. I'm an English coach living, and working in the Eternal City of Rome. For example, in your case will be something different. But you give a short description of what you do. Okay. What is your job or if you're a students? And so on the third thing that you you do is you follow up with. A question. So what's your job in this case? How do you like Rome? If this is the first time they are visiting. Is this your first time here in the in Rome? Okay. So you follow up with a question. Now, if you want to continue the conversation you may do so and but do not get too personal. So I wouldn't ask. Are you married or how much do you earn in the company? They do?

It's just a super signal, okay? For a formal context. Now when you see a showcases, so this is the fifth point. You just say goodbye like a professional. So it was nice. It was great to meet you. Have a great or fantastic day here in Rome. Or if you want to say, have a great day here in Rome and goodbye. That's all. Okay, this is enough for Formal context.

Now, let's look at the informal context then. So now we're going to talk about the informal context so you could be a party of social garlic Gathering or maybe a friend. Introduces you to another friend of theirs. Etc. Is informal. Remember that the social distance here is? It could be half a meter or 2 1 meter. Okay, and this is called a personal Zone because you can close.

To the person you're talking to and so the conversation gets more, more intimate or more direct. Okay, so you can ask personal questions in this case. So, the first thing that you do is you make eye contact greet, say your name and ask how they are. Remember that you can use slang also in this in this informal context so you can say hi. Hey, hello, Holly. D. I'm Mark remember that to use the contraction form. Okay, I'm Mark. Okay. How are you? How are you doing, without our? How are things in this line? We would say, sup. What's up. Then the second one that you do, obviously you ask questions. Are you from here? What do you do for a living or where you from? Okay, you can get even personal. Are you married, for example
Is there one more? Very important and continue the conversation if you like to and you feel the other person enjoys it so you can ask, what do you do in your free time? Okay, to continue the conversation. Have you been to the cinema lately? Okay, are there questions? You know you do you do any sports. For example, do you go to the ga excetera? Fourth one is to end the conversation in a friendly Manner and she hands if you want to So it was nice to meet. You was great to meet you. I hope you enjoy the party. Take care. Bye. That's it.
https://youtu.be/SU4p3gqHJ20
