Text A

Orientation:

Hello! This is me in 2020. Happy New Year all! I hope this year we can do better than yesterday. Last holiday, I went to my hometown in Ciamis with my family.

Events:
I helped my aunt take care of my niece and nephew. I drew some objects on paper and my niece happily colored them while I asked her to say the colors and numbers in English. We also went to Pangandaran beach, played near the sea, tried arcade games like “Sepeda Goes,” and ate seafood together at a restaurant. Another day, I had to fast, but I still helped babysit and enjoyed family time. On other days, I stayed home, watched YouTube and Instagram, chatted with friends, and sometimes just rested.

Time Connectives:

On the first day

The next day

On the third day

On the following days

Re-orientation:
In the end, even though some days felt boring and tiring, I was happy to spend time with my big family. It was a meaningful holiday that I will never forget.

Text B

Emotional Language:
The trip to Pangandaran beach was very exciting. I was so happy, it felt like all my Christmases had come at once. The beach was stunning, and I thought I had gone mad from joy.

Dialogue (to make the story engaging):
One of the best moments was when I played with my niece. I drew a princess, and she colored it with a smile. I asked her, “What color is this?” and she answered proudly, “Blue!” Then I said, “Can you count with me? One, two, three…” She laughed and repeated after me. This dialogue made the story more lively and engaging because it showed the fun directly. Although some days were just spent resting, watching social media, or feeling bored, the family moments became my happy place. They gave me true happiness and made the holiday meaningful.

Text A

The Orientation: Hello! This is me in 2020. Happy New Year all! I hope this year we can do better than yesterday. Last holiday, I went to my hometown in Ciamis with my family.

The Events: I helped my aunt take care of my niece and nephew.

Time Connectives: On the first day, The next day, On the third day, On the following days

Re-orientation: In the end, even though some days felt boring and tiring, I was happy to spend time with my big family. It was a meaningful holiday that I will never forget.

Text B Emotional Language: The trip to Pangandaran beach was very exciting. I was so happy, it felt like all my Christmases had come at once. The beach was stunning, and I thought I had gone mad from joy.

Dialogue : One of the best moments was when I played with my niece.

In my opinion, Competition is necessary in education and economic aspect, because it mirrors the 'real life' condition so they will be prepared and adapted for the future. In my perspective, Success is defined as someone who are able to improved and become better than their previous self. Competition is necessary for success, however the impact is depend on how it is conducted. Since, hyper-competition will disturb the individuals psychology and reduce the pair-to-pair interaction. Therefore, competition should be balanced with collaboration lessons, so the success that gained will be more beneficial.
