Hello Everyone, my name is Anne Etienne, and I come from a Haitian background in Miami, Florida. I am currently pursuing a degree in Business Administration with a concentration in management. I am really interested in areas like human resources, compliance, and operations, things that deal with both organizations and people. Outside of work and school, I enjoy doing several different hobbies. I love exploring art, listening to different types of music, cooking, and spending time with my friends and family. I also really enjoy traveling and seeing new places, since it gives me a chance to experience different cultures and other viewpoints. Something unique about is that my first language was not English, it was French. From this course, I hope to gain a deeper and broader perspective of workplace rights and the legal responsibilities between employers and employees. I strongly believe that this knowledge will not just be useful in my career in the future but also in shaping workplaces that promote fairness, positivity, and collaboration.
