Part 1 - Started class with inquiry activity. Students discussed which items could have broken window in the given scenario. Teacher then reviewed properties of items that students chose.

Part 2 - Students then used iPad and Explain Everything to take picture of item they believed was used to break window and recorded their reason to share with teacher.

Part 3 - Teacher reviews properties of items. Students are given box of items and they have to sort based on unknown properties. Students had to first decide what was the criteria before sorting items. Each table had a different box of items.

Part 4 - Students use Kidspiration App on iPad to build a concept map of the items sorted in part 3. Students could choose icons form app or take pictures of items when creating their concept map.
