This usually gets him a positive reaction no matter the situation. In the context of an interview, I could turn my charm up to 100 after being asked “how are you today?” (Or some variation) and respond with a quip like, “livin’ the dream!” With a wink. In an interview, to control the flow of conversation I could not only use active listening skills, but also open my body language to show I am open and interested in speaking.
