I study law and I would like later to become a lawyer to work in the human rights field to defend minorities that are being discriminated. For that, I would chose article 5 « No one shall be subjected to torture or to cruel, inhuman or degrading treatment or punishment. »

5. Facilitate the exchange of best practices and build a strong network of youth workers.

After that, we had lunch at the restaurant La torre and finally divided in groups we participated in a city rally with the purpose to discover the city. We learnt about typical expressions from Bassano del Grappa and we recorded a dramatic video on the main bridge.

At dinner time we met again all together to eat gnocchi, penne all’Arrabbiata and caprese.

It was a long day but it was very interesting because we could spend a lot of time knowing each other!

Later in the morning, we participated in a role-playing game organized by the participants from Greece, which allowed us to experience different perspectives and think critically about social issues.

After lunch, we continued with an interactive session focused on articles from the Universal Declaration of Human Rights (UDHR), followed by an activity about the Erasmus+ project itself, where we reflected on the goals and impact of the program.

To end the day, we enjoyed an unforgettable intercultural night! 🌍✨ Each country shared traditional foods and drinks, giving us the chance to taste and learn more about different cultures.

The first serious activity gave us an overview of different organizations and what their tasks and opportunities are.

The participants were divided into four groups and each group was assigned an organization and tasked with presenting a proposal to the other organizations.

In the end, the group had to present their proposal to the relevant organization and find a compromise.

The second exciting workshop was brought to us by participants from Spain. The topic were respect and Human Rights. Various life situations were discussed in small groups.

After lunch, there was an exciting activity organized for our French participants. We were divided into groups of six and our first task was to go and interview local people in the city. After the city tour, there was a presentation of the results and an exciting discussion.

The evening ended with a shared dinner at a restaurant we have become fond of. The day was intense, busy and tiring.😊

We also had chances to talk and present in more detail about what we do and what we think it's important. 

We also had a guest from Younicef for Unicef that works with young people and gives opportunities and spreads awareness to young people. They also bring together people between 14-30 and have networking and other activities with the locals and even internationally. Its depending on volunteers  

After lunch we had Estonia's activity about communication and social media. We talk much about how our social media and our organisation's social media look like and what we want to show and what you can see.    

Then we were grouped by country and we planned our own communication plan and what we have and maybe want. Then we also presented that and then we planned when we were gonna post info about HR. 

Then we watched a movie called Hidden Figures, then we talked about different perspectives on problems in the movie and in real life. 

We decided to have a full morning ☀️☀️ in order to have our afternoon free to do what we wanted to do in the city. 🏙️

We woke up earlier 😴😴than usual (9am) and went directly to a museum / studio 🎤🎤to make a podcast. We practiced first in groups of 2 👯‍♀️than made bigger group to record a podcast about our experience in Bassano for the training.

After that, we went to the youth center to continue the activity. We made a final reflection 💆🙇about our week spent together (food, group …).

During coffee ☕️☕️break, we took advantage of the time to fill a google form about the training 🏃, and then we did one final reflection : a quote and a picture representing our experience. 🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺

After lunch, it was free time 🎀🎀🦙🦙🤭🤭. Some stayed at the hotel to rest, some went to the beach.

We started the morning with a good practices market, where each organization presented who they represent in the project and shared their approaches. It was a great opportunity to get to know each other’s backgrounds, values, and ways of working.

Later in the morning, we had the pleasure of attending a guest talk by Giulia from Younicef. She shared her personal journey and experience in the field of youth engagement and human rights communication. Her energy and passion were truly inspiring.

The afternoon was fully dedicated to designing dissemination plans by Estonian Partner. Every participant worked on a communication plan focused on human rights, and it was exciting to see how many creative and strategic ideas came out of it.

We wrapped up the day with a well-deserved moment of chill: pizza and a movie night with the whole group. A perfect ending to a day full of learning, connection, and meaningful conversations.
