Where as Malcolm X thinks if someone fights you fight back. They both fight against rights for African American's they both believe they are mistreated and want to stop this. I think MLK's way of thinking is a safer and better approach towards things because more gets solved by killing people with kindness and not violence.

Valerie-Malcolm x is different from Martin Luther king Jr because Malcolm responded with violence first and the king responded with peace first but they both agreed on people should be respected and treat people how you want to be treated but a quote from Malcolm says otherwise-“Be peaceful, be courteous, obey the law, respect everyone; but if someone puts his hand on you, send him to the cemetery.” --Malcolm X this was meant to say the first sentence but the last one meant hurt me i hurt you king said can they hit and you not hit back which means don't respond with violence just keep moving forward

Malcolm X has a very different view on the matter. He believes that you should stand up for yourself and if someone harms you then you should kill them. They have some similarity's as well. They both believe that you should respect one another, obey the law, be courteous, and peaceful. I think MLK belief is better because violence will only turn to anger and won't get you anywhere.

MLK and Malcolm X have different ways of going about MLK doesn't think that violence solves problems so he uses protests and boycotts while Malcolm X thinks if violence is needed use it. He believes that if someone physically touches you, the should be killed. But these people and their quotes also have some similarities like their main goal. Both men are fighting for blacks and whites to have equal rights. Both think that being respectful to others is important but they also both believe that something else needs to be done to make all humans equal, which is where they become different. I think that MLK has a better way of evoking change because fighting and killing doesn't always lead to changes it would only work if one person could change something and Human Rights is something many people come together to change, on the other hand, MLK used non-violent protests and boycotts which have the same goal just with a better way to get there. I believe that MLK and Malcolm X made people think about Human Rights but MLK had a better and nicer way of doing it.

Martin Luther King Jr. and Malcolm X are different in a big way, and that was on their point of views and how they wanted to handle them, for example, Martin Luther King Jr. wanted to handle problems peacefully, sure, they were protesting, but they still did it in a way where it didn't lead any violence to happen. Malcolm X, on the other hand, thought that if important rights (Like being nice, caring for one another, not discriminating, etc.) were broken by some other person or society, then you should kill them, as this was stated in a quote of his. So, this shows a big difference between them, since Martin Luther King Jr. just wanted to throw peaceful riots, and then make them eventually turn sides, while Malcolm X, wanted the exact opposite to happen if people were not being so generous to them.

They are the same because of one key goal they were both trying to reach: Freedom. They both were trying to have freedom for their followers/ supporters if they could understand the problems that they were both talking about. I don't need to go in depth about what they were individually fighting for, but they were both trying to reach (in short) rights for African American people.

I believe that Martin Luther King Jr.'s ideas would evoke more change, just because he would always keep pushing through, and just put out his ideas with no mean to hurt anybody. He was a person who thought need was changed, so what he did was just give out his idea's about these problems, or his childhood past memory's, and tell/reflect on how they were treated with such inequality, and how it felt like there was no change in diversity, that it was always just the white men who were always in the most control, and in the most power, and etc. But, anyway, I feel that Martin Luther King Jr.'s ideas would have evoked more change.

His ideas would have evoked more change because of him presenting his ideas. And that's because he kept on going no matter what, even if the law would try and stop him, he would still keep on pushing forward with his protests.

In Martin Luther King's speech he said that you should never hit back. Both speeches talk about how you should follow the law and be nice to everyone. Malcolm X does believe in peace and respect for others, even if they don't agree with you, but he also believes that if someone tries to hurt you physically, you should not just take the beating, you should fight back. Martin Luther King believes that violence is never the right answer. He thinks that the best thing is to be the better person and stay peaceful. He is not shy on making his point and putting his opinion out there, but does not think violence can do any help and will just make things worse. I think MLK's strategy is better because people are more safe and respectful of other but at the same time they are still fighting for their equality.

Malcolm X and MLK are different in a huge way, and that was shown in their point of views and how they handled them. Malcolm said "Be peaceful" and then "but if someone puts his hand on you, send him to the cemetery." Malcolm is saying be respectful and obey the laws, but if someone is to hurt you, kill him. MLK said "We were aware of the difficulties involved, so we decided to start having workshops on nonviolence to control anger" nonviolence. Malcolm is saying use violence if someone lays a hand on you, while MLK is saying don't use violence, be peaceful, we are aware of the obstacles ahead of us, but we won't use violence to get our way.

They are both the same because they both have the same goal in mind: Freedom. They were both trying to get freedom for all of the African Americans. They are also the same because their supporters expected them to get freedom for everyone.

I think that Marin Luther King Jr.'s idea was to make more change. He kept pushing through all the obstacles in life so he could gain freedom for everyone, no one would be separated anymore. MLK showed justice and changed the world for everyone.

I think Mx and MLK are different because at one point Mx did resolve to violence but MLK dosen't belive that violence is the answer for the situation that they are in. They are the same because they are both fighting to have the same thing to have peace and for them to have equal rights. I support MLK because his stratages to me are a little bit better than Mx because he resumed to violence and he did not do as many protest and marches as MLK did so i think that MLK way of thinking is a little bit better than MX way of trying to solve the issue.

Martin Luther king Jr and Malcolm X both have many things they disagree on but also agree on many other things Martin Luther king and Malcolm X both had some things to do with the civil rights movement and both did many protest but MLK is more peaceful and doesn't like the violence and would rather talk it out and Malcolm X likes the violence and wants to kill anyone that get in his way instead of talking it out like MLK would do and leaving the violence aside and I believe that Martin Luther King belief system would have work better because violence is never the answer and it would always have some consequences
