Arantxa works as a gender equality technician, and in her daily work she advises private and public organizations and companies related to gender equality, conciliation, inclusivity and in process participatory; anything related to community development

How do you combine your work with your community role?

She participates as a militant in saregile, because she likes to contribuite to the community, so, when you see something as your own project, you are able to make time for it and organize your life

Who/what is your main inspiration?

Arantxa's own life experiences are her main inspiration, beacause being a woman sometimes is difficult and risky. Her life experience has been very hard, and now she feels that she has to contribuite to the community, especially to help women in their way

Doing a work and a community work everyday is difficult, so Arantxa goes usually once every two weeks. Also it depends of the needs and the actuallity related with the womans

As I said before, it's difficult to find time to go, so she tries going as much as she can, but it depends on different factors. The mood she is in, if there is anything to do, etc.

Do you help people in your job or in Saregile?

In her job, Arantxa contribuites by changing the view of gender equality, of the different ways of deconstructing the role of gender, to break the gender gap, to employment equality, ultimately, to social and economic justice.

Helping people boosts anyone's mood, so Arantxa likes a lot her job, and enjoys it a lot, even if sometimes they are hard to manage
