I'm always interested in this kind of news because I'm such a big fan of Apple, and I'm pretty interested in SAP. Excellent results from this partnership will not surprise me because I'm already expecting that to happen. Imagine combining the great user experiences of Apple along with the renowned end-to-end business process and software of SAP? That would be awesome!

I know that companies and developers will open new doors to endless possibilities in the digital world through this partnership. I can see great business applications and a lot of potential for their joint customers coming.

SAP is creating new and native iOS industry apps for core business processes to allow customers in leveraging the data in their SAP enterprise systems and revolutionize how they run their business anywhere.

Acquiring mission critical information, reports, and data every time you need it without being reliant to your desktop is the kind of capability that drives a digital enterprise. I learned that SAP is starting with industries that have a high demand for consumer applications.

I'm glad that SAP provides their community of developers with state-of-the-art tools and training such as SAP HANA Cloud Platform SDK for iOS along with SAP Academy for iOS to build, extend and run a new class of native iOS apps run by HANA Cloud Platform (HCP).

It's also a good thing that I don't need to be a developer to change an existing SAP application or mobile SAP application and I don’t need months of customization with lots of consultants.

Both firms will also provide developers with a SAP Fiori for iOS design language based on SAP Fiori UX adapted for iOS, including reusable design components and building blocks to improve the development of stable and trustworthy UI design across applications and between the lifecycle of every application.

In order to connect millions of developers, customers, SI partners and ISV partners, both gigantic firms will develop a SAP Academy for iOS to complement the SDK as well as curate and educate their combined ecosystem. Apple/SAP partnership will make consuming and leveraging important data from your organization easier. I can see that customers will also have the ability to constantly access their data every day to obtain intelligent insights through SAP HANA's enterprise computing platform.

I'm certain that developing applications that could be crucial to a lot of people is the main objective of this partnership. It's obvious that they intend to create newer and faster ways to perform a task, access data and do a particular job.

I'm also positive that mobile apps on iOS will make the digital transformation more widespread across various enterprises. With SAP's wealth of data management and Apple's beloved user experience, lots of innovations could happen and life could be different and easier at the same time. I strongly believe that this partnership is a great move to new developments that will surely benefit our society.
