I want to know where to start with our new curriculum. How can we make it more hands on and get them going. Are all the mystery science lessons PBL or do we need to take a unit and expand it to deepen their learning and understanding? I don't find that taking an hour comparing standards help me implement our new curriculum because we haven't even had time as a grade to explore or talk about it.

I am LOVING the Mystery Science curriculum and so are my students. So much of how we are teaching science this year is how we have always approached science in early childhood. The question or request I do have is this - we have been creating videos with our "wonderings" and would love a list of resources that we can send them to for answers and feedback. Thanks for all you do!

This mode of learning is more time consuming, thus I feel it challenges teaching reading and math curriculum with fidelity, which has been emphasized in the past.
