Our school has 3 laboratories - the chemical laboratory, the microbiological laboratory and the food analising laboratory. Some programmes of our school like gimnasium and conservationists have laboratory pratice where we/they experiment with different organisms.

The population of Slovenia is about 2 million people. We speak Slovene. Our language has many different dialects that are spoken in different regions like Gorenjska region, Štajerska region etc. Every region has its own ethnical attire and their tradicional food.

The kitchen at our school is quite small but affective. They provide the students. teachers and the staff with a warm meal that the school provides us with2 menues . The first menu normaly includes meat, but the second one is vegan.

Forests in Slovenia

60 percent of Slovenia is covered in forests. There is a lot of spruces. Some areas are more overgrown than others. Forestry is an important economic activity and a great source of income.

Teenagers in Slovenia

Teenagers in Slovenia are not that different than other kinds around the world. We love to do sports like football, basketball, volleyball and horse riding.
Many teens like to go outside for a walk or just to sit in fresh air.
When the winter comes a lot of families go on ski vacation.
We love to bake and cook. Some of ou traditional food is Prekmurska gibanica, strudel and the famus Kranjska sausage.

Triglav

The tallest mountain in Slovenia is Triglav. It's 2864 meters high.
On the too of the mountain is a little tower called Aljaž tower. Which is also a Faraday cage.
Many tourists visit the mountain and it's quite a long walk up the mountain.

Green wall

Main purpose is to spread awareness about the meaning of growing plants and trees in cities.
Teachers were on a 5 day seminar about building and taking care of the green wall.
The programmes included in the project were gardeners, horticulturist, farmers and florists.
The goal is to spread knowledge, skills, capabilities of taking care for the wall and finding qualified workers for the purpose.

In Slovenia, we usually start our day with a breakfast before school. We than have classes and in one of the breaks, we have lunch. We usually finish school at around 2 o`clock. We usually do some kind sort of sports in the evening. On the weekends, we usually hang around with friend or we just stay at home.

Amongst many other things, our school is also focused on farming. We even have such equipment as tractors and many fields. We also have a stall and cows. A lot of young people want to become farmers and this is the right school for them.

Postojna cave

Postojna cave is our most famous and most visited cave. Its located close to the city Postojna. It has 24 km of passages, galeries, chambers open to tourist. The main attraction is a railroad that you can take inside the cave.

Lake Bohinj

Lake Bohinj is one of the most beautiful
destination in Slovenija. It was crated after the ice age when the ice glaciers melted that is why the lake is very deep . U can take a walk around it or even swim in it.

School shop

In front of our school we have a small shop where you can buy products that are made by students. Different programs learn how to make these products here. Some of these products include: Cow milk, cheese, yogurts, ice cream and different types of desserts.

Sports in Slovenia

Slovenia is a great place to do many sports activities. You can do different sports all year round because in the winter we have snow which is good for skiing and in the summer we have nice hot temperatures which are good for swimming and other activities in water. We also have very good athletes which compete in different sports and have achieved very good results in them.
