I believe that the core of gambling is human instinct of chacing one's desire. And the process of chacing is much better then the result of chacing.

Monopoly was invented by Lizzie Magie as an educational tool to illustrate the negative aspects of concentrating land in private monopolies.

And I wish my game can call players to think of the extereme profit-seeking behaviours, and the club/farm owners' neglection of hourse's right. For example I changed the "jail" square in original Monopoly into a 'injury' square-many injured horses' life were end by Euthanasia, because their owner don't want to pay for horses that lost their abilities to make profit.

Also I replaced the names and events on the game board.

• House-Horse

• Hotel-Fine horse

• Bank robbing-Club robbing

And at the end of the game, I added a horse race to create more competative facture.

Then my goal adjusts to wrapping up the project as quickly as possible-Since I didn't have much time to devote to this project, I tried not to hesitate at any step. I made a very detailed plan and followed it carefully. Only in this way can we ensure that there are no missing steps and the research work can be completed comprehensively.

first I started on the design of the stuff in the game kit. But found that to understand what's needed and what number of stuff(cards and chest s etc) I will have to first design rules of how this game will be played. After searching on board games I decided to make a Monopoly -like game. And I want to first look at the map used in Monopoly as a reference to build up the game.

1)audience-think more about the audience and their feedback.

2)publication-low connection with the film, seems I miss understood it's brief.

3)personal archive-more as layout instead of presentation - shorten every thing-I classified my study evidence and made pdf to show it more like a layout.

4) more "why" questions-think clearly of each choice and take notes.

Also to improve the communication and realization part, I re organized my research and developement parts evidence.

It's good to see others' works and their imagination and creativity impressed me. Some made works about park, toilet, tomb, market, and unexisting area. And stories behind are amazing.

And I collected feedback of my work by noting down keywords from conversations: Eye catching, feeling of wealth, party and carnival, exciting race, lively horses, dark hidden-side

And suggestions: design a game guide, poster or package, try different colours and materials, bigger size, make some 3D token figures, draw different colour horses.
