Your child is due to receive their Tetanus, Diphtheria, Polio and Meningitis (ACWY) vaccinations, which will be given in school on Wednesday 25th and Thursday 26th March.


Your Child has been sent home with a consent form recently - if you haven't received this - please know that the same form will be sent out again tomorrow (please ask you child to provide this to you). We ask that parents or carers complete this from and return this to school by Monday 23rd March. This form must be returned either with the consent or refusal of the consent.

As part of the national immunisation programme, teenagers in Year 9 are required to get the 3-in-1 booster and the Meningitis ACWY vaccines.  These vaccines have been used for decades as an effective way of protecting teenagers against a whole range of dangerous diseases such as Tetanus, Diphtheria, Polio and Meningitis (ACWY).
