Veolia have invested in a nationwide infrastructure to support its recycling, collection, treatment, recovery and disposal activities.  This includes facilities to:

  • Composting organic waste for reuse
  • Recover energy from waste
  • Safely trat, recover and reuse hazardous waste
  • Deliver secure destruction of clinical, pharmaceutical and sensitive waste
  • Landfill waste that cannot be recycled or reused.

Aim to visit:  to learn how our household and general waste products are recycled and to understand how this is managed for us by Veolia.  Opportuity to see the scale of the operation and problem for the environment when not enough waste is recycled.
