         <description><![CDATA[<div>Activity 1: Going through preparatory work. <br><strong>Paper 1: Coursework (7 months to complete)</strong><br>-  Preparatory work: 5 Boards of A3 size boards (4 months to complete)<br>-  1 Final art work (3 months to complete)<br><br><strong>Paper 2: Drawing and Painting (3 Weeks to complete)</strong><br>- Preparatory work: 5 pieces of A3 size drawing paper, front and back.<br>- 1 A3 final art work (3 hrs)<br><br><strong>Activity 2: [THINK] Individual Mindmap on Rush hour.</strong><br>- The mind map is what you know on the superficial level. you need to extend your knowledge of the theme on what you do not know therefore, you have to question the theme which goes to the next activity.<br><br><strong>Activity 3: [PUZZLE] Crafting Questions using 5 Ws and 1 H</strong><br>- you will have to create questions using the following:<br>What, when, where, why, who &amp; How<br>- you may create more than 5 Ws  and 1 H questions.<br><br><strong>Activity 4: Creative mind map.          <description><![CDATA[<div>Chua Mia Tee's artwork "Blue Lotus"&nbsp;<br>•React&nbsp;<br>-This artwork reminds me of a few places in Singapore , like the supermarket or the shopping mall ((where it tends to get crowded sometimes))&nbsp;<br>•Research&nbsp;<br>-This artwork is made by Chua Mia Tee , he used oil painting in this artwork of his.&nbsp;<br>-In this painting , there are actually all women inside it , all dressed as if they were in the past (( so this tends to resemble women in the past))&nbsp;<br>-All the women in this artwork is actually doing their chores/work/laundry in a daily basis or routine.&nbsp;<br>•Research [Examine Contexts]&nbsp;<br>-I think that the artist made this work to show and let people know about how women in the past has been doing their work.&nbsp;<br>-To also bring awareness to women in this present that they could actually do their chores without any use/help from electricity.<br>•Respond<br>-I feel that this artwork is really meaningful for people living in the present and the future.&nbsp;<br>-This is also to let people know on how hard women in the past has been working.<br>-This is also to let people realise that&nbsp; they don't have to really use electricity to do everything.&nbsp;<br>•Reflect<br>-To me, it means that people in the past went through their chores in a different way&nbsp;<br>-They could have been going through a 'rush hour' while doing it. ((In a crowded place where they need to do their chores quickly))&nbsp;<br>-This also mean to me that the past , the present and the future are a hugely big thing.          <description><![CDATA[<div>I feel different way when I see the artwork sometimes sad, sometimes emotion and sometimes I will feel and wonder why does the artist draw this. This artwork (liu kang's Nyoman Nuarta)&nbsp; looks like a guy who is rushing to work or school that this will represent rush hour. The important of this aspect of the artwork is the shading and the after effect of shading, these shading makes the artwork more realistic.&nbsp; I feel that the guy in the art work was anxious and rushing to work.          <description><![CDATA[<div>(Workers in a Canteen) - Chua Mia Tee<br><br><br><br>This artwork gives a busy and messy impression creating a realistic chaotic and hectic atmosphere around the surroundings. It reminds me of rush and peak hours when people are queuing up to buy or takeaway meals at restaurants or at food courts. It relates to how our everyday lives are represented in this artwork. For example, when we are in a school canteen, the canteen would be crowded and loud. Likewise, in this artwork that Chua Mia Tee has made, displays how we react when we are at crowded places.&nbsp; I can also see from this artwork that the workers are having a break to eat, relax, chit-chat with their collegues and friends. Some of the workers are queuing up for food or waiting to get seats. The artwork is made by oil on canvas; oil painting, which Chua Mia Tee mostly works predominantly with oil which he describes as the most competent and perfect medium for capturing details on canvas. The artist arranges the elements of the artwork, by making sure the painting is in a fully naturalistic, representional and academical style, with much of the details potrayed, from the creases and folds of the worker's uniform, to the distinct features of the worker's face such as the nose and mouth. Even spills and bits of food are seen laying on the table on the foreground. The artwork depicts a noisy and crowded scene in a canteen where the workers, mainly males are having a meal using chopsticks and eating from chinese bowls. From this, I can infer that this workers may be Asian. The artwork aims to highlight and salute the contribution of the working class to the young nation's program of rapid industrialization and economical development also known as social realist. Social realism is a naturalistic realism focusing specially on social issues and the hardships of everyday life.</div>]]></description>
