1. What does success look like in my school team?

Success in my school looks like a united team of Fellows, school staff, and parents working toward the shared vision of every child learning with joy, curiosity, and dignity. It means:

Children feeling safe, confident, and excited to come to school every day.
Fellows and teachers feeling valued and supported, with aligned goals and shared strategies.
Parents being active partners in their child’s learning.
Success is not just about test scores—it’s about children expressing themselves, caring for one another, and believing they can lead their lives with purpose.

2. What does my school & school team need?

My school and team need:

Clear and shared values that guide how we show up every day.
Regular spaces for collaboration between Fellows, school teachers, and staff.
Consistent communication with parents so they feel heard and involved.
More focus on student voice and choice, allowing children to take ownership of their learning.
Patience and persistence, especially for students with additional needs or challenging backgrounds.

3. What do I want to be true because of my leadership here?

I want it to be true that my leadership helped build a culture where:

Every child feels seen, celebrated, and capable of achieving great things.
Fellows and teachers work as a team, not in silos—learning from each other and holding each other accountable.
Parents feel respected, included, and proud of their child’s growth.
My school becomes a place where joy and learning go hand in hand, and where every stakeholder—from student to parent to teacher—feels they belong and matter.

For me the work that most importantly needs to be done is culture setting and English language skills upgrade. I have had the opportunity to interact with students who are not from my class and found that basic culture influence is missing across the classes. Same goes for English RC levels as well. Recently I got to know of an interaction with a GCC teacher from 9-10th grade who was complaining about the poor RC levels of her students. That's something that needs to be looked into urgently, from my perspective.
