         <description><![CDATA[<div>3.5 billion years ago. the first prokaryotes formed in this era, some surfaced and used sun as energy, creating photosynthesis. this allowed life to grow, also creating oxygen. oxygen was poisonous to most species and caused them to die off, making a new abundance of species. </div>]]></description>
