fish for dinner??

I would have never brought this fish home to eat if my son was not with me. Him and I were out fishing on a warm summer night when I hooked into this yellow perch at our good fishing spot. The second that he saw it was a perch, before it was even out of the water, he exclaimed, "I'm eating it!" So he did. We brought it home and he cleaned it. Then we cooked it up together on the Blackstone. It was a very fun memory as it was the first fish that we caught and ate.

Here I am with my personal best Smallmouth bass. I caught this a couple of summers ago fishing with my son. I remember catching this fish because of the distinct fight that it produced. The fish jumped out of the water four times before it eventually made its way into the boat. Of course being a big fish, my son instinctively brought out the camera to take this photo. His smile behind the camera was just as big as mine is in the photo.

Here I am with my two boys. We had just had a great dinner at Capital Grille with the rest of the family. We were in Rhode Island for an end of summer vacation. We all dressed up very nice, then sat along this wall here to watch the Water fire display that was taking place on the Woonasquatucket River, which was right outside of the Capital Grille. This was a great time with the whole family on the trip which started in Boston, MA and ended in Providence, RI.

new brand, new me?

This pen was the first step I took to make my own brand. I have worked as a worker's compensation attorney for more than thirty years at this point. Most of my career I worked at a law office in downtown Allentown with my partner Curt. However, recently he decided to take a step down as a full time lawyer and because of that, I decided to make my own firm. Now operating under "Cappellini Law," I have worked for the past 3 years by myself. With the move, I created a logo (as seen above) and created various types of merchandise, such as, shirts, hoodies, and pens. Pens were the first thing I put my name on, so it has a special place in my heart.

"Who's gonna get in the water first." That was the only thing I was thinking at this point. My wife and I had got married in Jamaica and the water was calling our names. The whole day was a lot of fun. There was no family for the wedding because who would want to fly all the way to Jamaica!! That night we had a huge meal at our all-inclusive resort, I had a huge 44 oz tomahawk steak and mashed potatoes. My wife had a steak salad with tomatoes and cucumbers. I remember when I first met my wife at the Bar Association. How I was so nervous to ask her on a date but eventually did. The rest is history!

Manchester United has always been my soccer team of choice. My obsession dates back to when I was a kid watching some of the greats of the game that played for Manchester United, with my dad. I am very happy to be able to watch the same team with my son and share some of the same memories that my dad and I shared together. I love watching his passion in the team grow as he ages and takes on his own interests.

Here I am with my family (minus my wife). We are on our speedboat on Lake Wallenpaupack. At the time of this picture, this was the only boat we had but now we have another one (a fishing boat) and we have two houses on the lake as well. Our family is not often all together due to many reasons such as jobs and college, so when they are all together like this it is a treat. I hope to have more moments like this in the near future.
