I've never had the word for these professional feelings. My first school was a breeding group for professional collaboration, coplanning, and learning from one another. What I had assumed was just common curtesy and professionalism was not actually the norm in most schools I am starting to learn. I began teaching at 23, I'm still seen as very new at 31... my first school provided me the outlet to modify our units, create unique assessments, provide input on hiring committees.
