I think the CWA was one of the most successful programs that Roosevelt made. The program provided jobs to 4 million workers in winter of 1933-1934. By the end of this time, 40,000 were built; more than 50,000 salaries of teachers were paid; also more that half a million miles of railroads were built. This program gave people enough money to start spending it. This helps end the Great Depression because one of the causes of the great depression was the overproduction. When people are going to get money and spend it on goods, products are going to get sold and the economy is going to stand on its feet again.
