That sounds like a great way to make money. I just wouldn't  want to be the person who picks the beans out of the elephant dung. That coffee would probably taste pretty good. It seems like they clean it very well just like the people who were in charge of the owls pellet project we did a few months back. They cleaned it and they both baked it to get the bacteria off witch I thought was very interesting and kind of coincidental. I would actually want to try it if it didn't cost 50 bucks. I mean, I don't even make that much off of allowance in a month. I don't know if i would try it. It actually doesn't sound that bad when you think about it they could not servit it to you if it was going to harm you. If i could have that jod i would take it because one cup is 50$ and because it is weird people are going to want to try it so you will probably get a lots of tips. It could be cheaper though Even if it is the best coffee in the world I am not paying 50$ for a SINGLE cup of coffee If I do get a job plucking seeds out of poop I will be getting paid more than 10$ an hour. That company can help save endangered elephants because they need the elephants poop to make it. Lowering the price might make more people willing to try it though. Wasting $50 on one cup of coffee. and 2. I don't even like coffee. 
    For me, I wouldn't really like that job because you have to get a lot of seeds out from the elephant poop. that would take probably like an hour. Also you would have to find elephants, and then collect their poop. To me that would be gross and not fun. 
    They help save endangered elephants by getting more poop everyday from the elephants, and that means you need more and more elephants. 
If I were the owner of that company I would be scared because what if some day the elephants all get killed, and now the business would have to get shut down because they need elephant poop, and if you need elephant poop you need elephants,and the elephants are all gone.

Elephant poop can be huge which means collecting thousands of seeds from at least 15 different poops can take days. I wonder if they collect the seeds while the poop is "fresh", or if they  wait for a  few days to collect it. If they do collect it while  it is fresh, do they wear a gas mask so that it doesn't smell as bad? Another thing that is on my mind is how long it takes to disinfect the seeds. Turns out that the company will pay high school seniors to wash, rake, and sun dry the seeds. If people can make elephant and civet poop coffee I wonder if they can make poop into different foods, like deer poop pizza or lizard poop donuts.

It might not be very appealing, but look on the bright side! You are saving electricity, by processing the seeds through an Elephant and not a machine. For this reason the creator of the company was quite smart. Many probably buy this coffee knowing that people, (and elephants) worked hard for every cup, and all the seeds were not just put in a machine. Even though it is kind of gross. This is also not cheap coffee, it is 50 dollars per cup and 1500 a pound! The creator of the company is probably cashing in at least a couple thousand a day, quite a good bargain. 
Having this job would be probably a high paying job. But i'm not sure if I would take it. You have to work with Elephant poop as a living, you would have to be quite committed. Just think, $50 on 1 cup of coffee! I think having that job would be gross because you would be touching elephant poop which would be the gross part. I also think that being the owner of that company would be weird because you're hiring people to collect elephant poop so they can make coffee with it.

In my native country there are a lot of tamed asian elephants and if the people there wanted to make the coffee they could get it for absolutely nothing but I don't think they do because they say that "Once you drink one cup you can never stop." and if the people in my country knew that this coffee was a real delicacy then you know what they're going to do.
I would never ever dream of having this job and I don't know how much you get paid but I don't think I can live life making overrated coffee.
Being the owner of the company is probably the best but I pretty sure the owner has another job and not just being the owner of this coffee company.
How this is helping other people? Well I don't think this coffee is helping other people other than the employers getting paid.
SO all my thoughts about this coffee is not very positive and if I was the owner I would be raising the price! Hahaha! No but I would actually lower the price to 25 bucks.
Maybe i'll get more customers or I'll get less. How I would hate to have that job! I wonder, if you have that job would you get free coffee? Also, it said in the articles that the seeds come from cherries. Is that like normal cherries? When you search up coffee beans, it does not look like cherrie seeds. I wonder if there is a different kind of cherries planted just for coffee? It makes sense that when the beans pass through an animal that when it comes out that is would make the coffee less bitter. I kind of understand why it is $50 per cup, because think of the process of making one cup of poop coffee. You have to feed the animal the beans, then pluck out the beans, then wash, dry, and roast them. But the again how are you going to get much profit if not many people are buying the coffee because it is too expensive. I would take the price down a little bit so more people buy it but you are still making a decent profit. The owner of this company must not be thinking too much, because if the price is too high people will only buy one cup in their life just to try it, but if the price is lower, you might be able to get customers to come back. Also the coffee seems tasty. "It has a slight nutty tone and a slight chocolate not too." Said Massimo Marcone, a scientist how studies food at the university of Guelph. And as long as this coffee is clean and tastier and less work I see no down sides besides the price which I GUESS is appropriate. So  guess I wouldn't be so grossed out.It's not very gross. Its like the thing we learned about how there is a small amount of rat fesece, yearn or hair in our food. But people make make it safe for us, just like the Black ivory coffee. The good side of this coffee is if it gets popular and they get lots of people to buy it, it’s $50 a person so that mean lots of money. Say that they gets $1253.32 per day with tip how much money do they get in the month of february and no leap year.
