Approach to the inmost cave

Eugene's old thief friends convince Rapunzel that he left her for the crown, but they actually just captured him. Her mother Gothel was behind all this.

The Supreme Ordeal

Flynn is sentenced to death and Rapunzel is taken back to the tower with Mother Gothel. This is when Flynn decided he should escape to rescue Rapunzel

The Road Back

Rapunzel finds out that she is actually the missing princess, and returns to the castle to meet her real parents. She and Flynn have fallen in love, and decide to get married. Rapunzel has finally found herself, her family, and love. She is no longer trapped by her mother, the tower, or her fears.

Resurrection

Flynn comes back to rescue Rapunzel but is stabbed by Mother Gothel. Rapunzel begs her mother to let her heal him and she finally consents but Flynn cuts her hair off, taking away its power. Mother Gothel dies and Rapunzel's free but Flynn is dying. However her tear resurrects him.
