However, efforts can be made to stop this by implementing sustainable forest management practices, reforestation programs, and protected areas, as well as promoting eco-tourism and community-led conservation initiatives that support indigenous communities in preserving their forests.

To combat deforestation by promoting sustainable practices, reforestation, habitat protection, and raising awareness.

2) How effective are these measures. Find out what is done in United Arab Emirates (UAE) about it.

In the UAE, initiatives such as the "UAE Forests Initiative" aim to increase green spaces, while the government has launched projects like "Ghaf Tree " to promote biodiversity and combat desertification, alongside strict regulations on land use and environmental protection.

Cause- Melting ice caps

Effect - Rising sea levels and loss of habitats

Measures - There are many ways to reduce melting ice caps. The most successful way is to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, which are a major cause of global warming. This can be done by using renewable energy sources, improving energy efficiency, and reducing deforestation. These measures are effective in slowing ice cap melting but require global cooperation, rapid implementation, and significant reductions in greenhouse gas emissions to prevent irreversible damage. The most effective solution is rapid global emission cuts, large-scale carbon capture, and carefully tested geoengineering methods to cool the planet.

Dianne,Inaaya,Pravisha,Rahini,Amreen
