Owen: The reason why Australia is suffering from water problem is due to its weather. Australia is hot and DRY. Therefore, it will not rain often as other countries. Beside, mountains in Australia is not high and it is plain. Therefore, the rain water will be unable to run down the mountain. This is why water fee is expensive in Australia. (Saying it as a person who is born and lived in Australia)
