Wind energy is the energy produced by the wind.
A wind turbine is a machine used to convert the kinetic energy of wind into mechanical wind energy. This mechanical wind energy has been used over the ages to pump water or grind grain.

The force of the wind rotates the blades (wooden) of the helix also called rotor. to be in the good direction, a weather vane isset up.
Generally the rotor comprises 3 blades.
The propeller drives an axle in the basket, called a shaft, connected to an alternator.
Grace to the energy supplied by the rotation of the shaft, the alternator produces an alternating electric current connected.
This electric current is then routed to the various electrical objects of the house or the street lights located in front of the house.
(This is called energy self-subsistence)

Energy self-subsistence is the princip that you produce yourself the energy you will consume on a daily basis.
It is obvious that your energy production will probably not coincide with your consumption. Indeed, the moments when you produce the most electricity will certainly not be the ones where you will consume the most.
 Consumption refers to electricity consumed at the place of production

In the situation where there is no wind, they can use a bicycle to replace the wind turbine.This is the same operation that the wind turbine but with pedals instead of the blades and it is with the human energy.

The wind turbine and the bicycle will allow the amish to be even more autonomous. They won't have need to pay gasoline or gaz for their generators. This project will make them a lot of savings for their communities.The wind turbine replace generators and this is clean because there no pollution and there is no noise.
