Dear Families,

My name is Pia Dela Cruz, Early Childhood Special Education teacher assigned at Balboa Children’s Center during the regular school year. I have been working for the last 13 years at the West Contra Costa Unified School District as a special day class teacher. My goal is to inspire. My love is to teach. My dream is to help children see that they are special, talented, meaningful, beautiful and loved. Each student that walks in our room is someone's child, and for that reason I must do all I can to help each one of them. 
 
I am looking forward to a year full of adventure since we will be doing distance learning program, get to know your family, and help facilitate your child’s learning and development. 

I will be using Class Dojo to communicate daily agendas and announcements. Invites were  sent via email and or text message.
