Parents are able to see what is going on within the classroom. It is a safe private space, especially in comparison to either discussion board type accounts like Facebook. There is no cost to use this application! This could include students, teachers, parents, or whoever else signs up to get those specific reminders. This is a useful way for teachers to send a reminder or announcement out to a group of people with just one message. It can be sent to any device. This can be used to remind about homework or due dates, make announcements about school events, and more. If it is set up for just the classroom, the teacher can send out specific content questions, make a scavenger hunt and send out hints, and more. It is also free! Then, the teacher can scan this quiz using a document camera, webcam on laptop, or app on their phone and automatically view the answers to these quizzes. The answers are shown for each individual student through the app, and you can also see the class averages to see which questions were answered well or not well as a whole. It is a quick and easy way to check in with students and see the data on certain quiz questions without having to grade and add in the data one-by-one. Students can access this by going onto any device and going to the website or a downloaded application. You enter a game pin and then follow along to answer the questions. This can be used to assess students prior knowledge, or as a way to check in after learning about a new concept. Students compete against each other and try to both get their answer correct while answering at a quick speed to get the most amount of points. The negative about this app is that you are only able to create multiple choice type questions.
