A rollercoaster has lots of momentum because of it's high velocity and large mass and how much energy it pertains as it is moving on the track.</p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>A unit of acceleration equal to the acceleration caused by gravity also called G force. gravity causes objects to fall at about 10m/s. 3'gs of acceleration carrying speed is at a rate of about 30m/s. you can feel this when you are spinning in a circle on a rollercoaster. you can feel yourself getting compressed or you feel heavier. </p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>The feeling of when something or someone no longer feels an external force acting upon their body. this happens when a rider is dropped from a height going towards the ground. this does not allow gravity to take it's full toll making the rider feel weightless when really they are not.&nbsp;</p><p>(Ex. Thi accures when the coaster is in motion gaining speed or has consistant speed like when it is dropping from the top of a hill. The most energy when the cart or vehicle is being dropped from a height. it has the least amount of energy towards the end of the ride when there is not as much energy and cannot gain as much back. the equation is:</p>]]></description>

Depends mostly on height but also mass. when a rollercoasters cart or vehicle is at the top of a large hill, it has built up lots of potential energy. this is when it has the most potential energy. the coaster has the least potential energy is when it is on a rather smooth hill or has reached the bottom of it. this causes the vehicle to no longer contain any potential energy that it could have.          <description><![CDATA[<p>Roller coasters date all the way back to the 17th century. they were first made out of the ice hills in russia and were usally made to be like large slides rather than actuall rides that we see today untill the 18th century where the first reall rollercoaster was made called the Switchback Railway. Soon the adea of rollercoasters took off and everyone wanted to be a part of this new creation. more and more disigns were made creating new coasters. the first steel rollercoasters were made starting in 1959 at Disney Land park with it's oldest and probably most famous, the Matterhorn Bobsleds. ever since them more and more disighns and coasters are being made each day and continue to to this day</p>]]></description>

         <title>The Big Question on Roller Coastrs</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>Many people have wondered about how is it that a coaster continues to move on the track without stopping? Well, the coaster itself has only one engine at the begining or a convader belt that drops you at the begining giving you the full limit of speed. But what keeps it going throughout the ride is the numerous turns, drops and loops that give the coaster more potential and kinect energy throughout the ride. as it goes up the hills and loops, the ride builds up potential enery before gaining kinect energy when it runs on the corse. Each loss in height coresponds to gain energy. Once the coaster reaches it's initial summit, the only forces that is acting on the cart is gravity, the normal force, and the dissipative force such as air resistance that it against the cart.</p>]]></description>
