         <description><![CDATA[<p>It can be a challenge to motivate students in middle school mathematics classes.</p><p>Making topics like linear functions and dividing fractions engaging and interesting </p><p>for my students in a difficult task.  When students are not motivated, they tend</p><p>to not learn as well.  As a teacher, my job is to make sure all of my students are </p><p>reaching their highest potential.  When students are motivated to learn, there is an </p><p>increase in academic success.</p>]]></description>

I found it interesting that this article pointed out that teachers don't always use real life examples that are interesting for their students.  It is important that teachers communicate with their students to find out their likes and dislikes and tailor their lessons to their needs.</p>]]></description>
