The biggest theme is appearance because it’s about a city where the community lives by there physical appearance. For them being pretty determines what kind of life style you have, if you are a cool person and where you stand in the hierarchy. Some characters also teach others how to love their selves and that it’s okay to be ugly. For example, David show’s Tally how being ugly is good too and that it’s normal not to be perfect.
