  • Currency. If your page is current and updated regularly (as stated on the page) and the links (if any) are also up-to-date, and
  • Coverage. If you can view the information properly (not limited by fees, browser technology, or special software requirements), then you may have a Web page of research value.

  • Take a look at each website.  Use the criteria you have read about previoulsy to evaluate the website for example, ask yourself...

    1. Who is the author?  Are they reputable?
    2. Who is the audience?  Is the information biased?
    3. Is the information true?  Can you find this information elsewhere?
    4. When was the site last updated?  
    Once you have studied the website you can grade the website and add a comment about saying if you think it is a reliable website and why.
