         <description><![CDATA[<h1><strong>Muhammad Ali: The Greatest Boxer Of All Time</strong></h1><div><strong><br><br></strong><br></div><div><strong><br><br></strong><br></div><div>Boxing’s most popular athlete, heavyweight champion Muhammad Ali was known for his public stance against the Vietnam War and his ever lasting battle with Parkinson’s disease.<br>Born Cassius Clay in Louisville, Kentucky in the year 1942, Muhammad Ali became an Olympic gold medalist in the year of 1960 and the world heavyweight boxing championship in the year of 1964. Muhammad Ali dedicated his time to philamthropy, earning the Presidential Medal of Freedom in the year 2005.Ali died on June 3rd 2016 in Phoenix, Arizona.<br><br></div><div><strong>Early Stages Of Ali’s Career<br></strong><br></div><ul><li>v Boxer, social activist and philanthropist Muhammad Ali was born Cesium Marcellus Clay Jr. on 1942,17th Ali showed his class at an early age and showcased that he wasn’t afraid of any bout (inside or outside the ring). Growing up in a segregated South, he experienced the racial issues and discrimination firsthand.</li></ul><div> <br><br></div><ul><li>v At twelve years of age Ali discovered his talent and passion for boxing through an odd twist of fate. Once his bike was got stolen and he told a police officer Joe Martin that he wanted to find and beat up the thief. At that time Martin told him “well you better learn how to fight before you can defeat your enemy”. In addition Martin also trained young people (boxers) at a near by local gym.</li></ul><div> <br><br></div><ul><li>v Ali started working day and night to perfect his fighting skills with the help of Martin and there on his boxing career began.</li></ul><div> <br><br></div><ul><li>v In his first amateur bout in the year of 1954,he won the fight by split decision.</li></ul><div> <br><br></div><ul><li>v Ali went on to win the 1956 Golden Gloves tournament for the novices in the light heavyweight category.</li></ul><div> <br><br></div><ul><li>v Three years later he won the national Golden gloves tournament as well as amateur athletic unions national championship title for the light heavyweight division.</li></ul><div><strong>Ali’s Boxing Comeback And Retirement<br></strong><br></div><div><strong><br>Boxing Comeback<br></strong><br></div><div><strong> <br></strong><br></div><ul><li>v Prior to Supreme Courts decision, Ali came back to the ring in the year 1970 with a win over Jerry Quarry.</li><li>v The following year he took on Joe Frazier, which was called as the “Fight of the century”.</li></ul><div>Both Ali and Frazier went toe to toe for 14 rounds before Frazier dropped Ali with a left hook in the 15th.<br><br></div><ul><li>v Ali restored quickly but the judges awarded the decision towards Frazier, this was Ali’s first professional loss which happened after 31 wins</li></ul><div><strong>Ali’s Retirement<br></strong><br></div><ul><li>v In his retirement, Ali dedicated much of his time to philanthropy.</li><li>v He announced he had Parkinson’s disease in the year 1984 (a degenerative neurological condition) and he was associated in raising funds for the Muhammad Ali Parkinson Centre in Phoenix, Arizona.</li><li>v Ali was one of the most well known celebrities of all time, and many authors and film industry people wanted to make <a href="http://celebrities.wiki/category/musicians"><strong>celebrity bios</strong></a><strong> </strong>on his journey to becoming one of the greatest boxers in the world.</li></ul><div><br></div>]]></description>
