I do believe that society does place expectations according to age. For older people, they expect them to be more responsible and able to make big decisions. On the other hand, they expect kids to follow the rules and listen to their elders. Due to the standards set by society, younger people are often overlooked and viewed as incapable of taking on big tasks or leadership positions.

yes I believe that in society does put expectations with age, because I believe that since your an adult that title comes with a huge sense of maturity and responsibility. Which helps further make me believe that people want to prepare you for that level of adulthood and this is the way society plans to show it even though this method is underestimating the newer generation

In my opinion society does place expectations according to age. Sometimes when people exceed expectations, then they may regress to fit into the "societal norms" for their age. As we get older society places higher expectations about how much work and responsibility we can handle.

There are many restrictions put on the young teens such as creating accounts which are only 13+ and up. Especially when it comes to the age in which you are transitioning from being a teenager to a adult. People expect for someone to all the sudden know everything they have to do to live on their own, another reason being the fact that there are laws that limit what someone can do according to their age.

Society places expectations according to age I believe in almost all aspects. When age increases, responsibility does too. Right now we are at a midpoint relating to our age and responsibility quota. Where we are old enough to do certain actions and expected to take on adult responsibilities. However when it comes to doing adult things we for the most part, cannot.

Also when someone starts becoming a teenager, say 16 to 18 many people say things such as you are an adult now so be more mature, but you are also too young for certain things. Adults are suppose to be more responsible so when you're not,
you get judged, but someone "too young" is expected to "stay in there place"
