Hi My name is Paik Sang-min and I'm 20. 
I'm freshman of Sangmyung University and I'm studying fashion in university. 
I like Hanbok and street fashion and  I hope to be a fashion designer.

 I study many different fileds that are related with fashion like fashion marketing, fashion design, contemporary fahion and fabric. 

I really like contemporary fahion and fabric, because I can learn about many designers and fashion history too. Actually, this subject requires lots of effort to pass exam and to do homework but I think it is really interesting to know how this kind of style appears. To understand western costume history, I need to know western history and western art history too so I read some books that are realted. Because of that I can understand western costume history in depth and correctly. Also I learned about other fields too. I hope there's a chance to study about the costume of East Asia.

One more, I like fashion design too. We learned how to draw man, woman and kid's body and how to describe clothes and the texture of fabric. I like this subject because I love drawing and I can learn drawing and coloring skills to describe my own design. About two months ago, I got my first part time job. I'm working at  shabu shabu  restaurent which is in Inceon Songdo. Because the job was harder than I expected, I was worried that if I can do both part time job and my study. Fortunately, as time goes by, I get used to my work, and now, I can do it fast and well. Although the process was hard, I can overcome because of the people who work together. All of them are nice people and I'm really happy to know them. As dealing with many customers, I think that I learned how to deal with people well and more comfortable. If the contract runs out and if there is an opportunity, I want to work at other places like coffee shop, a clothing store and cat cafe

I love stripe and I have lots of striped t-shirts and pants. Also I love denim, so I have lots of jeans too. And I have jacket, bag, shoes made with denim.

I like neat and simple style so usually buy clothes that have solid color or have simple pattern. And I like to wear hat.
I usually buy clothes at spa brands like Uniqio, SPAO, H&M.  I go ALAND when I want to buy designer clothes and earrings.

Also I'm interested in Hanbok, especially modernized hanbok. I hope to be a fashion designer and I want to design clothes that are inspired by hanbok. Because I want make young people know about the beauty of hanbok.

I really like going to an exhibition. The most memorable  is the exhibition of  Jean Paul Gaultier and Lee Young-Hee. 
Last week I went to Dongdaemun Design Plaza  with my friend to see Jean Paul Gaultier exhibition. The curator said this is the last show of Jean Paul Gaultier in Asia. I was so excited that I can see one of the famous fashion designers' clothes and it was really amazing and invaluable experience. All of his clothes have stories and most of his clothes take more than 100 hours to make. One of the most interest thing is that the face of mannequins were moving. Their faces were moving because of the laser beam projectors and some of them were even talking. The curator said Gaultier doesn't want to make his exhibition like a funeral, so he record his friends' (celebrities) face and voice and use them at his show. Because of his idea, the exhibition was excited and amusing.

A few months ago, I went to Jeju island for two weeks. Originally, this is kind of project which is called living Jeju for one month. We don't have enough time so our family decided to stay Jeju island for two weeks. We traveled many places in Jeju. The nature was so beautiful and espacially the beachs are the best. I remember the beach which is made of coral, not sand. The guide said if we take the coral of the beach we have to pay a fine about  5,000,00won. Also we visit traditional market, green tea farm, tangerine museum and beautiful forest. Because I'm a university student, I go to school 4 days and I rest on Friday. 
I'm doing partime job at  shabu shabu  restaurent to earn money for a trip to Japan. Also I'm doing mentoring at high school that I graduated. Before I do the mentoring program, I worried that I'll become busy if I do this program. But I don't regret. Because teaching my juniors and chatting with them is very fun and valuable experience. On free time, I usually do what I like. For example, watching youtube, doing embroidery and going exhibition. Also, recently, I am studying PhotoshopCS6 by myself on my free time. I'm planning to study IllustratorCS6 too and planning to go fashion school to learn how to make clothes.
