Until today it is not know who created the microscrope, it is believed that they are: Zacharias Jansen or Galileo Galilei.

Years later in 1665, the astronomer and physicist Robert Hooke, Observed microscopic things and wrote the work “Micrographia”, with the microscope he
observed common things like: Hair, Insects, Pins, Textiles, etc.

This discovery was VERY Important because it marked the beginning of the study of the cells with the microscope. After that discovery many scientists began to see different things through the microscope.

The microscope is used to study really small things like cells or bacteria, thanks to the microscope it’s been possible to study cells. Before the microscope they didn't know that everything is made of cells.
